the recovery machine is complete...

it took me a couple weeks but I finally finished my building of the new '08.5 Ridley Helium road bike...I took my time as I been slowly returning to riding outdoors via my suspended MTB which is easlier on the body...

the Helium weighs in at 16lbs...not bad for an XL frame and the components I used :-)

first outdoor ride in a long time...

Yesterday I went out on my MTB for an easy ride to see how I am feeling this spring. This was my first ride since the biking accident last July. I felt decent out there and realized how out of shape I am but it felt great to just get out there and do it!

Today I am sore...

I'm looking forward to session number two of my private pilates lesson this evening...the rebuilding of the core, gluteus and hamstrings continues!

it's snowing outside...

Well we just got a late season 4" snowfall here in our region over the last two hours as it's tapering off now...Obi is sure enjoying it this evening :-)

Exercise has been on the back burner for the last 5 weeks but I hope to slow return it within the next several weeks...still seeing my sports ortho chiro plus now I'm taking pilates sessions as part of the rebuild process...

Obi is hoping for more snow!

MAT treatment by my sports ortho chiro last night was focused specifically on the left side of my head & face to help the long recovery process from the biking accident...painful treatment but it helps with recovery!
